Although Kyora does not directly handle property transactions, we take prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing very seriously.

Partner agent obligations

Real estate agents using Kyora must:

• Be registered and licensed in their jurisdiction
• Comply with AML/CFT obligations in their country
• Perform client due diligence (KYC) before any transaction

Data protection (GDPR)

Kyora is fully committed to protecting personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable local legislation.

Agent license verification (Annex)

Kyora applies a private verification process to check the licensing status of real estate agents operating in Dubai. This section clarifies the scope, method, frequency, and limitations of that verification.

Official licensing framework

Dubai real estate agents are subject to:

• Bylaw 85/2006 Article 3: License and registration with RERA
• Practice card (agent identification card)
• Trakheesi permit system for property advertisements
• Dubai REST (Real Estate Self Transaction) platform for property registration

These are official requirements administered by DLD/RERA. Kyora is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of DLD/RERA.

Kyora's private verification method

Agent license status and RERA registration details are retrieved from publicly available information when accessible. Where direct API access is not provided, Kyora relies on documentation submitted by the agent at registration (license certificate, RERA card, broker number) and verifies it against publicly available records when feasible.

Check frequency

License verification status is checked:

• At agent signup (manual review of submitted license documents)
• Periodically for active agent accounts (at minimum, annually or when a listing is published)
• Upon user report or suspected license issue

Kyora does not provide real-time license monitoring. Between scheduled checks, an agent's license may expire or be suspended without immediate platform notification.

Fail / pending state

When an agent's license cannot be verified, has expired, or is flagged as suspended:

• The agent's public profile may be hidden or show a 'verification pending' notice
• New listings may be paused until license status is resolved
• The agent is notified and given a reasonable period to provide updated documentation

Accounts with unresolved license issues may be suspended if the agent does not respond within the allotted timeframe.

What Kyora does NOT claim

Kyora's license verification:

• Is NOT an official RERA/DLD badge, endorsement, or certification
• Does NOT certify agent professional competence, ethics, or transaction success rates
• Does NOT guarantee real-time license validity (checks are periodic, not continuous)
• Does NOT replace investor due diligence — you should independently verify agent credentials through official DLD/RERA channels before any transaction
• Does NOT constitute an endorsement or recommendation by Kyora of any specific agent

Kyora acts as a technology intermediary and is not responsible for agent conduct. There is no official 'foreign portal license exemption' or safe-harbour for international introduction platforms under UAE law; Kyora verifies agent licenses as a private due-diligence measure, not because of any formal regulatory obligation to do so.

Investor responsibility

Investors are strongly advised to verify agent credentials independently through the official DLD/RERA public registry or Dubai REST platform before committing to any transaction. Kyora's verification is a courtesy check and does not replace your own due diligence.

Reporting issues

If you encounter an agent whose license appears invalid or who is impersonating a licensed professional, please report it immediately to contact@kyora-international.com and to the official DLD/RERA complaint channels.
